Argentina strikes twice and leads at HT

Argentina leads by 2-0 in the 4th Round of 16 match against Mexico.

Tevez scored the 1st goal and Higuain doubled up the lead.

Carlos Tevez 26
Gonzalez Higuain 33

Such a shame for Mexico. They are 2-0 because of two mistakes - one by the linesman and one from their centre back. Now there is a scuffle just outside the tunnel between the two sets of players.

Stats & Info: Argentina have not won a knockout match in normal time since beating Brazil in the 1990 second round (eight matches).

Stats & Info: Argentina's record is 23-0-0 when holding a two-goal lead at the World Cup.
